I.O. 「アイ・オー 」という名のマウンテンブーツ型の新型です。第一弾はPLAUGROUND限定のカラー、FADE BLACKの登場です。vibram®の軽く底あたりが柔らかい、ライトトレック用のソールを使用しています。見た目に反して非常に軽く、デイリーユースにも適しています。42サイズで片足あたり420gなので、pg KNOCK 2と比べても10g軽い一足です。KING-TEXを装備しているので防水透湿性もあります。次世代のマウンテンブーツです。余談ですがマウンテンブーツなので山にちなんだネーミングにしたく、私の地元の千葉にある「伊予ヶ岳」からのネーミングです。

I.O. is a new model of mountain boots. The first release features “FADE BLACK,” a color exclusive to PLAUGROUND. They feature a Vibram® sole designed for light trekking, which is lightweight and has a soft feel underfoot. Despite their appearance, they are extremely lightweight and suitable for everyday use. At 420g per boot in size 42, this pair is 10g lighter than the pg KNOCK2. Equipped with King-Tex, it offers both waterproofing and breathability. This is the next generation of mountain boots. As a side note, since these are mountain boots, I wanted a name inspired by the mountains, so I named them after “Iyogatake,” a mountain in my hometown of Chiba.
