1993年に登場したゲルライトV(5)が日本では2014年に再スタートを切りました。NewBalanceやHokaとの別注が記憶に新しいアメリカのボデガ(BODEGA)が手掛けた一足です。二色発売したうちの一足で国内でもポップアップストアで僅かに発売がありました。アッパーにはゴアテックス。リップストップナイロン、スウェード、ネオプレーン、3Mのリフレクティブ素材と機能性てんこ盛りでボデガらしいカラーリング。asicsからスニーカー好きになりボデガを初めて知ったスニーカーです。当時は学生でした。足も大きく二次流通もあまり発達しておらず中々買えなかった思い出の一足。ゴアテックスの機能はおそらく期待できません。全体的にすり減りやダメージも見られますがクリーニングはしております。今見ても色褪せない一足です。

The Gel Lite V(5), first introduced in 1993, was relaunched in Japan in 2014 by BODEGA, an American company that has made special orders with NewBalance and Hoka. This is one of the two colors released, and there were a few pop-up stores in Japan that sold them. The upper is made of Gore-Tex, ripstop nylon, and suede. I first became interested in sneakers through asics, and this was my first Bodega sneaker. I was a student at the time. I was a student at the time. I had big feet and secondary distribution was not well developed, so I couldn't afford to buy a pair of these shoes. You probably can't expect Gore-Tex functionality. They are worn and damaged overall, but have been cleaned. They are a pair of shoes that will not fade away even if you look at them now.
