今まで取り扱ってきたNIKE ACG ZIONはキャンバスとレザーでアッパーが構築されていましたが、今回仕入れたZIONはアッパーがオールヌバックで作られています。ZIONを持っている方や見たことがある方には共感してもらえると思うのですがキャンバス地のZIONは足の屈折にあたる箇所のキャンバス地が裂けていることが多いです。ただ、このオールヌバックのZIONではその箇所の耐久性は高いように思います。また、僕の大好きな経年変化を楽しめる系の1足であることも間違い無いです。1995年製。年代の割に状態は良く、アッパーもソールも若干の使用感がある程度になります。ZIONはソールとアッパーが縫われているのでソールが剥がれることもなかなか無いところもポイントだと思います。

The NIKE ACG ZION we have been dealing with until now was constructed with canvas and leather upper, but the ZION we have purchased this time is made with all nubuck upper. As you can imagine, the canvas of ZION is often ripped at the point where it meets the flexion of the foot. However, the all-nubuck ZION seems to be more durable in those areas. Also, I am sure that this is one of my favorite pair of shoes that can be enjoyed over time. The sole and upper of the ZION are sewn together, so the sole will not come off easily.
