アシックスタイガーブランドの復活により2014年シーズンから "GEL-LYTE" シリーズが、日本でもリスタートしました。本モデルのオリジナルは1993年と歴史もあるスニーカーです。当時の技術でアップデートを遂げGORE-TEX仕様に。"GEL-LYTE V" といえば柔らかなクッション性とシュータンが分離していないソックス構造が特徴的です。当時もこの包み込まれるようなフィット感に衝撃を受けましたが、今履いてみても、現行の様々なブランドに引けを取らないと感じてしまいます。それほどまでに優れたモデルではないでしょうか。反射のロープレースが懐かしいですね。配色は今の気分で使いやすそうです。左足の履き口に少しダメージが見られますが。その他は状態も良くまだまだ着用できそうです。
