1982年に結成され、ファッションスタイルとしても確立されているバンド「スーサイダルテンデンシーズ」
PLAYGROUNDでは、そんなスーサイダルテンデンシーズのリードギター、ロッキージョンが好んで被っていたピッツバーグ・パイレーツのキャップに注目し、パイレーツのPマークに着想を得た、PLAYGROUND PIRATES SERIESを展開します。
この季節に重宝するのがスウェットシャツ。そこで今回、我々が着目したのがチャムスのハリケーントップです。今はメジャーなブランドとなったチャムス。かつて90年代はチャンピオンのリバースウィーブと共に、スウェットの2大巨塔といわれたハリケーントップ。カラフルな展開とふっくらした裏毛、そして低いスタンドカラーのスナップボタンのヘンリーネックというデザインが特徴です。私も好んで着用していました。広大なアメリカの雰囲気が感じられる今でも色褪せないアイテムだと思います。そんなハリケーントップのリユースを集め、今回のテーマ「PLAYGROUND PIRATES SERIES」のロゴをプリントを入れ、PLAYGROUNDのフィルターを通した新しい一着です。ハリケーントップの特徴をいかして、自由にコーディネイトをたのしんでいただけたら嬉しいです。

Formed in 1982, the band "Suicidal Tendencies" has established itself as a fashion style.
PLAYGROUND is developing the PLAYGROUND PIRATES SERIES, focusing on the Pittsburgh Pirates caps that Rocky John, the lead guitarist of the Suicide Tendencies, liked to wear.
Sweatshirts come in handy during this season. This time, we focused on the Chums Hurricane Top. Chums is now a major brand. In the 90's, the Hurricane Top was once known as one of the two biggest sweatshirt brands, along with Champion's Reverse Weave. It is characterized by its colorful development, puffy lined fabric, and low stand collar with a snap-button henley neck. I was also a favorite wearer. I think it is an item that still hasn't faded away, with its vast American atmosphere. This is a new piece of clothing that has been collected from the reused Hurricane Top, printed with the “PLAYGROUND PIRATES SERIES” logo, and filtered through the PLAYGROUND filter. We hope you will enjoy coordinating your outfits freely by taking advantage of the features of the Hurricane Top.
