GEL-YETIはトレイルランニングの競技後に履くアフターシューズとして2000年に初登場。こちらは日本のブランドであるnonnativeが別注をかけたモデルで2色発売されたうちの1足です。粘土を意味するCLAY(クレイ)がテーマで、赤土のようなベージュを用いたカラーリング。ソール自体も粘土特有の性質をグリップ性と防水透湿性の機能で表現。スエードのアッパーで、GORE-TEX。非の打ち所がないですよね。コンバットブーツを彷彿させるシューレースシステム。紐が通るＤ環が多く、踵部分にもループを設け、足首の周りに靴ひもを巻き付ける仕様で独特のフィッティングが個性を際立たせています。一見履きにきそうに見ますよね。ただこの独特なシューレースシステム履き口の広さが簡単に調節できるので着脱かなり楽なんですよね。ぜひ気になっている方に試していただきたいです。踵部分にnonnativeのブランドロゴの型押し。GORE-TEXネームがをライニングに。特別感も個性も機能性もこれ一足で揃いました。使用感はありますがまだまだ状態もよく着用いただけます。

GEL-YETI was first introduced in 2000 as an after shoe to be worn after trail running competitions. This is one of the two color versions of the model that Japanese brand NONNATIVE made a special order for. The theme is "CLAY," meaning clay, and the coloring is a red clay-like beige. The sole itself also expresses the unique properties of clay with its gripping and waterproof/breathable features. The suede upper, GORE-TEX, is impeccable. The lacing system is reminiscent of combat boots. The many D-rings through which the laces pass, a loop at the heel, and a specification that wraps the shoelace around the ankle make the unique fitting stand out for its individuality. At first glance, they may look difficult to wear. However, this unique shoelace system allows easy adjustment of the width of the opening, so it is quite easy to put on and take off. We hope that those who are interested in these shoes will give them a try. The heel is stamped with the nonnative brand logo and lined with the GORE-TEX name. Specialness, individuality, and functionality are all here in one pair. They are in good condition and can still be worn.
