1982年に登山家のルー・ウィッタカーが北側エベレストの登頂に成功時に着用したH710。PLAYGROUNDではNIKEやadidasの同カテゴリーのモデルを多く扱ってきましたが今回はNew Balanceから。こちらはミッドカットで、ナチュラル系のカラーリング。他の710と違いD管までも本体色と同じ統一感のある一足です。サイドのNロゴではなく、NB ロゴの焼印になっており、より洗練された印象です。少し前のnonnativeとの別注のようにも見える710。土臭い服装や色にも合いそうですし、シンプルな洋服にも。表情も履く人次第で大きく変わりそうですね。状態もよくまだまだ着用いただけます。

The H710 was worn by mountaineer Lew Whittaker in 1982 when he successfully reached the summit of Mount Everest on the north side of the mountain. PLAYGROUND has handled many models in the same category from NIKE and adidas, but this time it is from New Balance. This one is mid-cut and comes in natural coloring. Unlike the other 710s, even the D-tube is the same color as the main body. Instead of the N logo on the side, it is the NB logo, giving it a more sophisticated look. The 710 looks like a special order with nonnative from a while ago. 710 looks like it would go well with earthy clothes and colors, or with simple clothes. The look will also change greatly depending on who wears them. They are in good condition and can still be worn.
