New balanceっぽくない一足と言っても良いのではないでしょうか。このRX 1441はトレイルランニング用のスニーカー。トレイル用のソールを装着し、ゲイターも付いています。ゲイターというのは雨や小石等から足首周りを守るパーツで、それが取り外し可能な形で付属しています。ゲイターをチラ見せして履くも良し。ローカットにして履くも良し。ブーツのように、パンツをインして履くも良し。この形、ギミックでしかなし得ない履き方をできるのがこのスニーカーの魅力だと思います。ソールのリペア跡、ゲイター部の黒のパーツの剥がれ、レザーの劣化が見受けられます。ソールは一度剥がし際接着を施しております。

I guess you could say that this is a pair that doesn't look like New balance. This RX 1441 is a sneaker for trail running. It is equipped with a trail sole and gaiters. The gaiter is a part that protects the ankle area from rain and pebbles, and it comes in a removable form. You can wear them with the gaiters showing. You can wear them low-cut. You can also wear them with pants in, like boots. I think the charm of these sneakers is that you can wear them in ways that are only possible with this shape and gimmick. There are repair marks on the soles, peeling of the black parts of the gaiters, and deterioration of the leather. The sole has been peeled off and glued back on.
