カラコルム山脈中央部に位置するバルトロ氷河を名前の由来にもつNIKE AIR BALTORO。当時、数あるハイキングシューズの中でも比較的手に取りやすい価格帯で販売されていたそう。GORE-TEX等の搭載はないものの、当時のハイキングブーツに求められていた頑丈で補強された感触は健在。そんなAIR BALTOROのソールをVibramのトレッキングソールにカスタム。よりアウトドア感の感じられるデザインになったと思います。アウトドア系のパンツと合わせても良いでしょうし、カラーリングがAIR MAX 95のイエローグラデに近しいのでデニム等も合いそうです。2007年製。アッパーに履きじわと若干スレたような傷がありますが、年代を考慮するとかなり状態の良い一足かなと思います。

The NIKE AIR BALTORO is named after the Baltoro Glacier in the central Karakoram Range, and was sold at a relatively affordable price point among the many hiking shoes available at the time. Although not equipped with GORE-TEX, they still have the sturdy and reinforced feel that was required of hiking boots at that time. The AIR BALTORO's sole has been customized with a Vibram trekking sole. The design has a more outdoorsy feel. The coloring is similar to the yellow gradient of the AIR MAX 95, so denim would also go well with it. The actual shoes are made in 2007. The upper part of the shoes has some scuffs and scratches, but considering the age of the shoes, I think they are in good condition.
